in Princeton, NJ, is a small Limited Liability
Company registered with the State of New Jersey. It was established for conducting scientific research primarily in the field
of plasma physics and controlled thermonuclear fusion under contract with governmental, industrial, and other organizations.
The company also develops and markets diagnostic instruments used in these fields.
FOUNDER:
Princeton Fusion Research
LLC was founded by Dr. Hironori (“Hiro”) Takahashi. He has spent most of his long professional career as a research
physicist at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy and operated
under contract by the Princeton University. He has also participated in research at other world-renowned laboratories, including
General Atomics (GA) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), both in the U.S., Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute
(JAERI) and National Institute of Fusion Science (NIFS) in Japan, and Max-Planck Institute for Plasma Physics and University
of Stuttgart in Germany. Dr. Takahashi holds a doctorate degree from MIT.
